KuaiLian VPN setup on macOS is different from Windows. The common issues are Gatekeeper prompts, VPN profile permission, network-extension approval, and old network components left after an upgrade.
This page does not hard-code installer size, version, or store availability. Use the download page and the currently shown official or app-store route as the source of truth.
Check These Before Installing on macOS
Verify the source
A reposted DMG, cloud-drive file, or download ad may use a convincing name while still being unsafe. Start from the download page and confirm that the macOS route is currently available.
Read macOS security prompts
macOS may ask you to approve an app, VPN profile, or network extension. Do not bypass the prompt until the source has been checked.
Use an admin account
VPN clients often need permission to create network settings. A managed work or school Mac may block that step even when the installer itself opens.
First Launch Checks
After opening the app, sign in and allow only the VPN profile or network prompt that clearly belongs to KuaiLian VPN. Avoid running another VPN, browser proxy, or network filtering tool at the same time.
If the app opens but never connects, use the not connecting guide. If it says connected but pages do not load, use the connected but no internet guide.
Upgrade and Reinstall Notes
- Quit the old app before installing a new version.
- After a macOS update, recheck VPN profile permission.
- Disable other proxy or VPN tools while testing.
- A mirrored installer may be too old for the current service configuration.
If the App Will Not Open or Crashes
Restart the Mac, check storage space and OS version, then verify the installer source. If it still fails, remove the old app and reinstall only after checking the current download page.
