Whether you're on mobile or desktop, you can set up SafeW in just a few minutes and start communicating securely. This guide covers installation steps and system requirements for every platform.
Android Installation
System Requirements
OS: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later
Storage: At least 100MB free space
Network: WiFi or mobile data connection
Option 1: Google Play Store
- 1Open the Google Play Store on your device
- 2Search for "SafeW" in the search bar
- 3Find the official SafeW app in the results (verify the developer name)
- 4Tap "Install" and wait for the download to complete
- 5Tap "Open" and follow the prompts to register or sign in
Option 2: Direct APK Download
- 1Visit the SafeW download page and tap the Android APK button
- 2Once downloaded, open your file manager and locate the APK file
- 3If prompted, go to Settings → Security → Allow Unknown Sources
- 4Tap the APK file to begin installation
- 5Open the app after installation and register or sign in
💡 Tip: The APK download is ideal for users who cannot access Google Play. The package is identical to the Play Store version.
iOS (iPhone/iPad) Installation

OS: iOS 13.0+ / iPadOS 13.0+

- 3Find the official SafeW app in the results
- 4Tap "Get" and authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
- 5Once installed, tap the SafeW icon on your home screen
- 6Grant notification and contacts permissions as needed, then register or sign in
💡 Tip: If SafeW isn't available in your App Store region, try switching to a different Apple ID region to download it.
Windows Installation

OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
Storage: At least 200MB free space
Processor: Intel/AMD 64-bit processor

.exeinstaller (approximately 80MB) - 3Run the installer. If Windows Defender SmartScreen warns you, click "Run anyway"

- 5A SafeW shortcut will be created on your desktop automatically
- 6Launch SafeW and sign in to sync your conversations across devices
macOS Installation

OS: macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later

Compatible Chips: Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel

.dmgdisk image - 3Open the
.dmgfile and drag the SafeW icon into the Applications folder - 4If macOS warns about an unidentified developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway"

- 6Sign in to sync your messages with your mobile device
Linux Installation
